Authentic DaoDi Dried Herbs

Our mission has always been to supply authentic herbs that have been cultivated at the place of origin. Not only do we ensure that all of our operations comply with EU regulations, but we also take extra care to ensure all of our herbs are not treated with any disruptive agents such as sulphur, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides. We are proud to have secured a complete field-to-clinic supply chain so that you can rest assured that our herbs are 100% traceable and the relevant information is available to you at all times.

We work with our long-term strategic partners who embody the DaoDi (道地) concept whereby herbs are cultivated at the original source, and harvested at the right time. This concept was established to ensure that herbs are grown to have the correct level of active ingredients which are crucial to the medical properties.

Professional herbs for herbal professionals:

  • DaoDi: Grown at the original source, harvested at the right time
  • Never treated with sulphur
  • Grown in GAP certified fields and packaged in GMP factories
  • Zero use of herbicides, pesticides and fungicides
  • On-site PaoZhi processing
  • Official supplier to NHS clinical trials at the University of Southampton
  • Proudly working with TCM research and teaching institutions
  • Batch-to-batch Certificates of Analysis

We stock a wide range of dried herbs in packs of 500g. Where the herb is sensitive to biodegradation, we have vacuum sealed the herb to prolong shelf life as well as dehydrating the herb till no moisture remains. Unlike other herbal suppliers, we do not use sulphur to preserve our herbs, and therefore these are practices we have put in place to maximise shelf life and ensure the stability of the materia medica.

We strive to provide for the TCM community in the UK and across Europe, and we welcome feedback from all practitioners. Feedback is incredibly important to us and we have a direct relationship with our suppliers, so if you would like to see a certain product stocked or if you would like to make a suggestion for improvement, please do get in touch with us.
